My path to floral design began in my aunt’s shop, but it was my own wedding in 2017 that truly revealed the "Zen" of the craft. After two decades in education, I discovered that the same skills I used in the classroom: preparation, communication, and attention to detail, were exactly what elevated wedding floral centerpieces and large-scale installations.
I launched MJM Occasions to serve Chicago couples who value organic beauty and refined service. Today, I bring that foundation of preparation and thoughtful planning into every wedding flower arrangement I design. My work blends organic, garden-style beauty with careful execution, creating a calm and intentional experience for Chicago couples who want their wedding florals to feel effortless and deeply personal.
